Britpop contents page analysis

I like this contents page because of the photo collage in the background. In this back ground you can see bands such as, oasis and blur. This links in well with this issue of the magazine because the two main articles are on oasis, and blurs come back. There are also gig tickets film photographs and badges with band photograph on them. All photographs link in with this magazine.
The actual contents area on the contents page has a nice bold boarder around the information with a wash out effect so that you can see the background. The font used for the title of the contents page is big, bold and easy to see which is great. Once again the magazine editors have stuck to the colours, blur, red and white. This supports the magazine as it is called Britpop.
The information on this page is bold and dark which makes it easier to see. It also has a small piece of writing underneath each heading, stating what that page is about. This is a good idea so that the reader always knows what areas are what. The magazine also has page numbers next to each heading which is nice and bold and in red so that it is easy to see.
Although I like this contents page. I do not think that I will be doing my consents page like this as I will like to keep mine more simple so that the contents page is not so busy.
